St Albans Gallery
|
The City of St. Albans, named after Britain's first Christian martyr, developed from the Roman town of Verulamium. Present day St.Albans combines narrow streets with some remaining half-timbered houses with over-hanging upper storeys, wide roads with elegant Georgian residences and more modern buildings, including a Victorian Old Town Hall, commended by Sir John Betjeman.
The Oriental Rug Gallery was established in St Albans in 1989 and now has a more current look and title - Rugallery.
With it's loyal customers and numerous Interior Designers the original Gallery in St. Albans has continued to flourish.

When he is not buying abroad, the Gallery is managed by Julian. As well as having a good eye for the unusual, Julian also stocks a wide range of more traditional Persian and Afghan rugs.
The Gallery is located off the main St. Albans High street with easy access to the multi-storey car parks.
The St Albans shop is open from 9am-6pm every day except Sundays.
